It’s ladies night and the feeling is right! Women’s Night will be April 12, 2013 and will be a wonderful time for fellowship, food and fun. The night starts at 6:00 pm with dinner and the discussion will start at 7:00 pm. This is an excellent way to meet other women of ORB, build relationships and grow in faith together. Don’t forget to invite a fellow lady or two!

The event will take place at Corrine Brennan’s house: 63 Silverbrook Drive, Shrewsbury, NJ

This Friday – Men’s Night!

Are you a male? Come to ORB’s Men’s Night on Friday, May 10. This promises to be a great night to study scripture together, get to know other men in the community, pray for and with one another, and build one another up in faith.

We’ll have pizza at 6:00, so we invite you to come and eat and hang out. The night will officially ‘start’ at 7:00. Contact Chris West for more info.

On Friday, March 29 at 7:00 come and worship at ORB’s Good Friday Evensong. Evensong is a time to come together and sing songs, hear Scripture, and pray to God with the community. It is a more intimate, reflective, and quiet worship service. It will be at Monmouth Church of Christ in the Fellowship Hall.

ORB Easter Service!

This year, the Easter service will be held at 10:00AM at the Two River Theater. It is a big, beautiful, and fantastic theater, so feel free (as always) to invite as many people as you can! We are working on making this a great Easter service. It is an exciting event, as we celebrate Jesus’ resurrection from and victory over death. So please join in on the celebration on Sunday, March 31st! This is of course open to all people of all ages!

The Two River Theater is at 21 Bridge Ave., Red Bank, NJ. Contact Chris West if you want to help with the service, if you have questions, or need more information in any way. Childcare will be available for nursery and pre-school aged children.

Note: this means that on March 31st, we will not have our regular worship service at Monmouth Church of Christ. Spread the news!

Ongoing Sermon Series

Now is the time to pray. It’s always time to pray, but here, where we are as a Church, we should be looking to God to see where and what He has for us next. This is a very exciting time for us. For the next eight weeks (starting 4/14), we will be looking at some prayers in the Bible as examples of how we ought to pray.

Baptism Classes!!!!

Want to be baptized? Want to simply learn about baptism? On Sunday January 20th and 27th from 6-8PM, join Christian Andrews for this two-part study of baptism. Whether you have been baptized, or are considering it, this will be a great time to learn and ask questions. RSVP to elaine@theorb.org by January 18th.

Want to learn more about ORB’s its mission, beliefs, or organization? Are you looking to become a ‘member’? Come to the 3-part membership classes on Sundays (February 17th, February 24th, and March 10th) from 6-8 p.m – after the worship service.

Join us for this three-part class focused on explaining the mission, beliefs, and organization of our faith community. Dinner will be provided. Child care will be arranged if requested. RSVP to elaine@theorb.org.
