Hello, and welcome to the online home of Outreach Red Bank(ORB)! ORB is, among other things, a Christian church in the heart of Red Bank, NJ. We worship God together as a community at 5PM every Sunday night (check the calendar for more information). ORB also has outreach ministries to middle schoolers, high school kids, young adults (college age-ish), adults, and older type adults. We have lots of other things going on as well: service projects and opportunities, Bible studies, new believer type classes, emerging prayer groups, and more...check it out, come along, and get involved! The summer is here! Pool parties are happening, the beach is a few miles away, you're probably off of school, and there's lots going on at ORB. The Sunday night worship / church service goes on as usual...5PM on Sundays...be there! We are finishing a series of sermons on what it means to belong to Jesus Christ as our Lord, and then we will start a new series in July on who God is. In the words of our pastor Christian Andrews, "If you think that you already know who God is, it just means that you don't!" Come and see what he means. Our wonderful children's ministry director, Larissa Jay, has just completed a fantastic art show with the children (in which the procedes went to help children in Third World countries), and she has more great stuff planned for the summer. Our children are in great hands with her! There are also many service opportunities to become involved in this summer. Talk to Chris Delacruz if you are interested.
There's lots else happening! If you're in the junior high range, your group meets on Wednesday nights at 6:00. Talk to Juan! If you're in high school, be at the basement at 7:00 every Thursday for the sweetest night of your life...this summer, a few of the college aged high school group alumns are trying their hand at leading the group. They have great events planned all summer...tt should be fun! The regular leaders will still be around though, causing trouble, etc. If you're out of high school, the young adult group is your game...Tuesday nights. It's red hot. Lastly, but not leastly, if you're somewhere in your 40's. 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, or if you've hit the century mark, come to Mid-Week Oasis! It's every other Wednesday night at the Andrews' house. Check it out! We've also just started a Wednesday night Old Testament Bible study for everyone. You should consider going and learning more about Scripture. It's from 8:15-9:15 every Wednesday night. It'll be good for you and the world!
And as always, always bring new people along! This community exists so that new people may come to know and follow Christ. Think about that as you are a part of everything that goes on here. The best (and only!) way to live in faith is to be a part of that. If you want to find out specifically where you can get involved in ORB, talk to one of the coordinators: Christian, Jared, Juan, Michelle, Carol, or Dave. They'll help you out...but you'll never need their help in getting to know someone new, sharing life with them, and making relationships with the people in the world that God also loves!
